Edinburgh Castle

I visited Edinburgh Castle with my friend Neil yesterday. It was really great - I hadn't appreciated how much there was to see in there.

There are at least three army museums, the crown jewels of Scotland and the Stone of Destiny. The Royal Apartments are the part of the castle in which James I was born. The thing about Scottish royal history is that it's all ancient. Since we unified Scotland and England in 1707, there hasn't been much action.

I shot this picture on the Royal Mile whilst the Wiliam Wallace character was, for some reason, writing down his email address for the tourist. Again, much love for the wide angle lens.
